Irritable but Irresistible

What a horrible start of the week.

I went to the ladies in the morning and was greeted by a very ‘beautiful’ sight.

The toilet bowl was filled with vomit and there was minced vegetables floating on the yellow water. I tried flushing it down, but I guess the bowl was choked. The water came back gushing forward again. Utterly disgusting. It didn’t help that there’s only one bowl for us 5 ladies.

So I just have to wait patiently for the plumber to get it fixed.

Yes, I finally met Anu. She erm.. Bit me on my hand. Thrice. Painful indeed. She’s a very active dog who is so super possessive over Ragu. She doesn’t like anyone getting close to Ragu. I got my prize for that. (-_-)

Went for my cousin’s wedding reception on Saturday. It was in Kulai.. Met all my relatives in tekka. From there we headed to our destination in a coach. The ride to the checkpoint was super long ‘cos of the jam. I guess the checks have become more strict ‘cos of Mr. Mas Selamat. (-_-) This fella has been playing with my life quite a bit now!!!

I almost died halfway ‘cos of a shock I had. Some stupid motorcyclist came out of nowhere when we were travelling downhill which made the coach skid. The sudden jam brake and the screams – left me doing some countdown on when I will reach Singapore safe and sound. My sister was the best. She started visualizing how would it have been if we had been hospitalized and who wud have come running to visit us.

It was a real rush. Getting cramped in one room and having to do the dressing up. So stuffy and all.. Imagine the whole scenario of tying sarees and doing the make-up. Thank god I chose to wear a chuditaar.

The reception was okay. Food was yummy. By the time we headed back to Singaara Singapoor, it was 1am. But still the two darlings Ragu and Prita came over to see us. Atleast we managed to meet up on this Saturday as well.

Last week was such a tiring week..

Thursday night, headed down to Vanan’s place after work with Ragu, Dharshi and Prita. To help out with his building of kavadi for ‘Panguni’ and to accompany him a bit.

Friday, the day of Panguni, Ragu went down earlier to help carry the kavadi around. Prita, Dharshi and myself went there slightly later.

And on Monday I was back to work again..

Now Ragu has a new member to his family.

“Welcome Home, Anu.”

Can’t wait to see her in person. She looks adorable..

U.S. woman sat on boyfriend’s toilet bowl for 2 years.

WICHITA (Kansas) – AUTHORITIES are considering charges in the bizarre case of a woman who sat on her boyfriend’s toilet for two years – so long that her body was stuck to the seat by the time the boyfriend finally called police.

Ness County Sheriff Bryan Whipple said on Wednesday that it appeared the 35-year-old Ness City woman’s skin had grown around the seat.

She initially refused emergency medical services but was finally convinced by responders and her boyfriend that she needed to be checked out at a hospital.

‘We pried the toilet seat off with a pry bar and the seat went with her to the hospital,’ Mr Whipple said. ‘The hospital removed it.’

Mr Whipple said investigators planned to present their report on Wednesday to the county attorney, who will determine whether any charges should be filed against the woman’s 36-year-old boyfriend.

‘She was not glued. She was not tied. She was just physically stuck by her body,’ Mr Whipple said. ‘It is hard to imagine. … I still have a hard time imagining it myself.’ He told investigators he brought his girlfriend food and water, and asked her every day to come out of the bathroom.

‘And her reply would be, ‘Maybe tomorrow,” Mr Whipple said. ‘According to him, she did not want to leave the bathroom.’

The boyfriend called police on Feb 27 to report that ‘there was something wrong with his girlfriend,’ Mr Whipple said, adding that he never explained why it took him two years to call.

Police found the clothed woman sitting on the toilet, her sweat pants down to her mid-thigh. She was ’somewhat disoriented,’ and her legs looked like they had atrophied, Whipple said.

‘She said that she didn’t need any help, that she was OK and did not want to leave,’ he said.

She was reported in fair condition at a hospital in Wichita, about 240 kilometres southeast of Ness City. Whipple said she has refused to cooperate with medical providers or law enforcement investigators.

Authorities said they did not know if she was mentally or physically disabled.

Police have declined to release the couple’s names, but the house where authorities say the incident happened is listed in public records as the residence of Kory McFarren. No one answered his home phone number.

The case has been the buzz of Ness City, said James Ellis, a neighbour. ‘I don’t think anybody can make any sense out of it,’ he said.

Mr Ellis said he had known the woman since she was a child but that he had not seen her for at least six years.

He said she had a tough childhood after her mother died at a young age and apparently was usually kept inside the house as she grew up. At one time the woman worked for a long-term care facility, he said, but he did not know what kind of work she did there.

‘It really doesn’t surprise me,’ Mr Ellis said. ‘What surprises me is somebody wasn’t called in a bit earlier.’ — AP

I’m feeling so miserable.

Firstly my boyfriend has been sent to some ulu-fied forested areas to find that run-away terrorist since Saturday. The weekend has been ruined halfway. We had nicely planned a re-union dinner and bowling after that, but yeah.. he couldn’t join us. :(

Secondly, I have been feeling so sick since Saturday.. Throat is sore from all that coughing. So am resting at home today – took an MC.

Feel so agitated! Ahhh.

Don’t know when I can see him again.

Last weekend was very fun but passed like a split second. Saturday me and my gang went to the Night Safari to visit our other good friends. Me, Ragu, Dharshi, Prita, Kohi, Vanan, Becky, Jessica, Shruthi, Aarthi, Preeti, Jeralyn and Janice. (Hope I got all the names right.) Managed to see a few animals but actually I prefer going to the zoo. Reason being, it’s dark and most of the animals were falling asleep. It’s boring to see cheetahs and tigers sleeping right. Plus the bugs.. This is the best time they get to feast on our blood.

After the Night Safari, we made our way to Yishun to have our dinner + supper. Becky and her clique made their way back home after the meal. So the rest of us proceeded to Yishun Safra for bowling. Yeah so, playing bowling after such a long time.. 4 games in total. On Monday I couldn’t even lift my hand to do some typing.

Today, we’re gonna have a re-union dinner. So hopefully everything goes well as planned. Tomorrow morning gotta ROM to attend. Sheesh.. There goes my sleep for the week. Can’t do much catching up this weekend. Guess I’m gonna have a very sleep deprived week again.

Till I whine again.
