After a long time, Ragu, Prita, Dharshi and myself spent our Saturday night together, mostly talking kok.
By the time we headed back home, it was about 4am in the morning. When I got back home, I got reminded of the time when Sanjana ran out of the house a few times when she was a puppy, at every given opportunity. (She had many boyfriends outside, according to my Dad.)
So I decided to give it a try to see if she would do it again. So I asked her to come outside but she refused to. I found that a little strange. So I told her sternly to go outside while I closed my gate. To my surprise, instead of running/walking away, she just stood up at the gate and looked at me, with her tail wagging away.
At that point, my sister asked me to close the door to ‘see her reaction.’ And so I did, only for about 3 – 5 seconds, though. There was no visible reaction when I peeped from the Door Hole. She remained in the same position but seemed exceptionally quiet. So, I opened the door and the gate to let her in. I noticed that she looked a little bit disturbed when she came in. So as usual, I started chasing her around and playing with her, but she wasn’t reacting well. I brushed it aside, thinking she was being ‘blur’ as she just woke up not long ago.
I went on to wash my face when after a while; my mum knocked the door with fury asking me what I did to her precious one. I asked her why, and she told me that Sanjana was crying. I didn’t believe her words, but came out anyway to take a look. I saw Sanjana’s eyes, it was red and swollen. Yes, I made her cry. Aww. I felt so guilty! I think she freaked out while I left her outside. Maybe she thought that we don’t want her anymore. :/
Sis : “You lah! Who ask you to close the door for SO long?”
Me : “Excuse me, weren’t you the one who asked me to close the door?”
Sis : “Yeah! But who ask you to close for SO long?”
She win already lor. I didn’t know 3 – 5 seconds was SO long.
I quickly brought her to my room and she leapt to my bed to lie down. I was stroking her head in guilt when she used her paw to bring my hand to her other paw and I saw her mouth trembling. Just like how someone is when they’re controlling their tears. Haiz. That poor baby.
Woman beheads attacker
20 Oct
LUCKNOW (India) – A WOMAN chopped the head off a man who allegedly tried to attack her and then paraded the head through a market in northern India, police said Friday.
Police arrested the woman late on Thursday after receiving calls from frightened witnesses who reported a blood-soaked woman holding a severed head was walking through the village, said police officer Ram Bharose.
The woman, 35, told police she had gone to a nearby forest to cut grass for fodder for her cattle when a man attacked her from behind.
‘In a bid to save her dignity she beheaded him with a sickle,’ Officer Bharose said, adding that the woman had bite marks on her neck and cheek.
The woman also told police that the man had been harassing and stalking her for three months and she had no regrets about killing him, he said, adding that she would probably be charged with culpable homicide.
The incident took place in Makkapurva village, some 200 kilometres southeast of Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh state. – AP

Smile! You’re on Stomper’s Camera!

It’s beginning to get a little freaky moving around in Singapore now. Try scratching your rear end in a Public place, and don’t be shocked to see an ugly picture of you in action printed in the million pages of mypaper newspaper, the following day. If that’s not worse enough, the same picture will be up in the Stomp Website with hundreds of people flocking in to write comments and laughing at your fate.
I think Singaporeans are getting some kinky fun out of these acts, that they enjoy gaining some publicity by taking these pictures of unaware people, not caring any less about how the “victims” in the pictures would feel.
Stomp first started out as a pretty cool site which caught socially irresponsible people in action. I remember articles on people who occupy many seats in the MRT to conveniently lie down prior to falling asleep, the itsy bitsy maggots which was found in the MacDonald’s curry sauce and some other interesting bits of Singapore. But as of late, I came across really weird articles in the website which leaves me wondering what in the world is wrong with the “photographers”.
Sometimes about two weeks back, I came across this picture of a young couple deeply involved in a romantic act of some sort. On the picture, big bold words said the teens were involved in ‘heavy petting’ and even more absurd information were given on how far they went in public. The worst part was when this stomper who uploaded the picture and details mentioned that he was irked by the sight of this couple, but he noticed them in action for 30mins. Which idiot in the right frame of mind would actually sit and videocam a couple making out for 30mins if the sight irked him right? I think this guy has some serious mental ailment.
Since Stomp is quite an established site among Singaporeans, I think it’s time they sit down and filter out what’s needed from the rest, instead of just blindly publishing everything. Spare a thought for people captured. Do they really need this unnecessary attention?
The next time you encounter a wedgie, or you find you need to pick your nose, or you feel the urge to scratch ‘restricted’ areas, do make sure you’re not being watched by a kuku with a camera or a phone in their hand. Or fame and glory might be yours, sweetheart.
Annoyed.

I’ve been worrying over a few things for sometime Firstly, my work. My last day at work will be next Friday, the 24th October. I haven’t found a replacement just yet. My mum, on the other end is pretty worried that I won’t be able to find a good job on time and as a result, follows up with me everyday regarding the status of my job search and that adds on to some kinda pressure. But I don’t blame her. I know she’s just worried, and that she cares.
People are coming asking me why I am leaving. I give each and everyone different answers. Cos I can’t be direct that I’m leaving because of a bitch lady at my workplace with a filthy mouth. And I also can’t tell them that I surrounded by dimwits who dance to her tunes. And to those who know, they tell me that I should fight her. They tell me that by leaving, I am only letting her win. Who cares right? If I am not happy, I leave. Why should I stay just to win some stupid lame-ass war over here? And yeah, it’s not as easy as it seems to work with these people, ya know?
I’m not sure how my new workplace is gonna be, or if there isn’t any Internet connection. I’m gonna be quite handicapped if there aint Internet. No more MSN while at work is gonna kil me, especially since I’ve got myself accustomed to chatting while “working”. And probably I wouldn’t be blogging so often as well. (Since my constant updates are usually due my boredom attacks at work.)
I just hope that my situation won’t be worsened for me to join these two friends, though.
I came to the office this morning to find out that my favourite blue pen has mysteriously vanished. I wonder which dimwit took it. I also wonder if he/she intentionally decided not to return it back to me. I can’t complain. Just another valuable experience of working with morons.
