We are one big fah-milli.

It’s the start of a brand new week. I’m feeling the least excited. Feels so drained out and all. Well, haven’t been in the best of moods.

Last weekend was cool. After work on Saturday, we headed down to East Coast as our company had reserved two chalets for celebrations. We were celebrating our first year anniversary and also the birthday of our boss, Mr. Tan Kim Lee. It was one of a kind celebration, as the birthday boy had been sabotaged in a weird way. He was first made to sit down infront of the birthday cake. And then, before he blew off the candle, someone came from behind and poured a whole lot of water on him.

After that, the cake was smashed right at his face. I kinda pitied him. The initial plan was to dunk him in the sea, but somehow or rather, they decided to pour the water instead. After that, water was poured on one another.

It was a buffet arrangement and the food was pretty okay. I loved the roasted lamb. The whole lamb was being roasted just outside the rooms. It was yummylicious.

Overall, it was a pleasant evening with my Royal Fah-milli.

Can’t wait for Labour Day. One of my closest cousin is getting married. Gonna have a mini-catch up session.

Till we meet again.

Utterly Butterly Delicious.

It seems like people can change easily in an instant. Once they attain a higher position in life, be it career wise, or anything else that matters. Things (or people) which/who were important once upon a time become transparent. They see through them. If they can be made use of, they also make use of them as much as they can. Squeeze every bit of life outta them and once they got what they need, they shun you off. How gross.

Words of such despicable people should never be trusted. My thoughts on such people are, if they can do it once, they will do it again.

I can’t wait to go back home! Am so sleepy. I miss Sanju’s cuddly face. And I can’t wait for the weekends. 2 more days to go.

WordPress looks weird now. As in when you wanna create a new post.

This is such a terribly random post.

Mena’s tamil is damn power to the giduga. Check out how she says thank you.

I realised that the bus services nowadays are getting from bad to worse.

Last week, after I left my office, I was waiting for bus 15 from the ulufied bus stop near the building. After a long wait of 35 mins, the bus came. This was how the scenario was.

scenario1

Okay, from that piece of masterpiece, you can roughly tell that my bus 15, was parked behind the other bus.

Usually in some situations, we will walk to the bus behind to board it , IF the door is open. The reason is obvious. Most drivers like to make us look stupid by not opening the door until they drive to the front. I’ve seen aunties running up and down the bus stop, so I didn’t walk all the way to the front of the bus. Instead I walked to the bus, but stopped at the end of the bus stop. The driver didn’t open the door, so I assumed that he’s like all the other drivers. He wants to drive all the way to the front before he allows any passengers to board or alight from the bus.

In a matter of few seconds, he just drove off. KNN! Imagine how I felt.. With those foreign workers walking up and down, it was almost 9.45 p.m. (Considered very late to be at industrial sites.) I was fuming mad, and the lady seated behind me said, “He actually saw you huh.. These guys are like that. Don’t bother.”

How not to? The bus took another 20 mins to come. Haiz.

Today I was supposed to meet Ragu in the bus. So usually I take 966 from Woodlands Interchange, down to Eunos. And we planned the timing so chun. But when the bus reached the stop, the bloody driver drove off again, without letting that poor child board the bus. Eventually, he took a cab instead.

These bloody idiots really need to be taught a lesson. I’ve chanced upon some really good and friendly drivers. These assholes bring them all a very bad name.

“No point” already. Therefore..

Everything is funny; as long as it is happening to somebody else.

Oh no…. I’ve been quite wordless of late. I don’t have anything to blog about.

I’ve been infected with the NATO bloggers virus… Must be you who infected me, right Prita?

HAHAHA.

Anyways, let’s see..

Life has been pretty much the same. Work, work, work. Good thing was, I was off from work for the past three days. Been GOOD! =)

After quite a while, I spent good quality time with Prita and Dharshi last Saturday. It really sucked ass when I couldn’t spend time with them when I had to work practically everyday. :( We went for a drive around Tampines for a change, and ate Mee Pok. (That was the only available food at the 24 hr coffeeshop there.)

So many things happening around us, oooh the world is just so small.

Okay, guess I’m wordless again. Till we meet again!

I feel so recharged now, after resting for two days. It sure was a well deserved rest, after slogging for so many days.

Wah, I have so many things to update on, but I don’t know where to start.

Anyway, as mentioned, I had been quite busy with the fairs my company participated in. One of it was at Marine Parade. Lunchtime came, and I went to the famous hawker centre. While I was walking around to look for a good stall, Ragu nudged me to show me this.

Non indians, please ask your indian friends for the meaning of the name of this stall in Tamil.

Anyways, two Saturdays ago, my company held a booth at the Suntec Convention Centre. It was the Lianhe Wanbao’s health and beauty fair. We were prepared for a big crowd, but we all were ultimately disappointed ‘cos it was a very wrong crowd. The whole place was packed with Ah Soh’s and Ah Pek’s who literally ran all the way just to get the free goodie bags.

Not only the goodie bags, but any free stuff which was given away. The sight of so many kiasu Singaporeans was very disgusting. Seriously. There were Ah Sohs sitting around cutting around certain sections of the Lianhe Wanbao papers to get the coupons for the free gifts from some booths. They actually were purchasing more newspapers from the counters just to get more free coupons!

One of the aunty caught in action.

The most humorous sight was when the gates were open, the people flocked in and pushed each other just to be infront of the queue. I pity the security guards. They were given the job of ensuring that people are allowed to only take the free gift once. But then again, do you think these people are happy with one? I saw so many aunties disguising themselves to take many more goodie bags.

Well, met a few weird people, but many nice people through my workplace.

A happy tamil new year to everyone. =)

It’s 2.22 a.m. right now, but I can’t get to sleep.

I’ve got quite a few thoughts running in my mind.

Work.. It’s only been two weeks, but I’ve been given way too many responsibilities. Oh yah, there’s going to be this Health & Beauty fair at Suntec City this Saturday, so those folks who have time on their hands but got nothing planned, head down to the Convention Centre!

My workplace is having a booth there, so I’m gonna be there all the way from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Give me a call when you’re there. (If you want to see me, of course.)

Working with my current company is a totally different experience. Although the working hours are like freaking long, I still don’t feel the pressure. The company works in a very different way, they prioritise a lot sharing sessions and all. It’s difficult to find these habits in most corporate companies.

But the saddest part is, I’ve no life already lor. From morning till night I’m stuck with work. Worse still, my weekends are always burnt. Weekends are the days where I’m the busiest. (Well it works this way for most in the sales line.)

I’m practically working everyday, but I get a lot of money. The boss doesn’t leave me empty handed, and also buys me and the rest expensive meals.

I haven’t spoken much about my company or what exactly I’m selling, but I will do it soon. Needs a lot of time and patience lah. But to summarise it, I’m working in a company selling Water Filtration Systems. As most of us already know, although our tap water in our homes is safe enough for consumption, we still need to have filtration systems in our homes to filter out the chlorine & bacteria in our water.

I will do another entry on the benefits of a water filtration system, and if you guys find that it makes sense, and you want to have a free demo at your place, feel free to give me a call or drop me a comment or a message.

I have many pictures to upload, but I’m definitely not using my desktop for that. It will take me ages, and probably my com will just hang before I even publish the blog entry. So, picture updates coming along once I get my lappie fixed. I hope I can do it soon. =(

Take care folks, and have a good weekend.
