Look a likey likes

It’s very normal for people to look at someone and comment,

‘Hey you remind me of someone.’

For me, I’ve came across many such incidents where I remind people of their ex girlfriends, sister, mother, aunty and etc. (Thank god that I never came across someone saying that I remind them of their grandmother, but perhaps that’s coming soon.)

The most common comment I’ve heard is that I resemble Jyothika. Of course, I take this as a compliment (Though I never liked her.)

But ever since secondary school, when someone comes to me to tell me that I remind them of someone, I start freakin out.

This is why.

*Flashback*

About 9 years ago, during recess time, I was seated with my friends when this Punjabi girl approached me. She looked at me and said

‘Hey you remind me of someone.’

And I was thinking it’s gonna be the usual Jyothika, or something… When she says

‘It’s MGR.’

I was like… WTF.. MGR?

And all my friends (including my sister) were laughing their asses off. I honestly don’t see a connection, but maybe it’s his nose or smth.

But anyway, yesterday I was going to the toilet, and was avoiding the cleaner aunty. The cleaner is said to be a real cranky woman who jumps at people for practically no reason. As I was siam-ing her, she suddenly greeted me with a

‘Hey sexyyy!’

And I went

‘Hey beautiful!’

And she told me something I really didn’t expect. I will tell you. But promise not to laugh at me or to make fun of me when you see me next time kay.

‘You look like…..’

*At this moment I was praying that it’s should not be Sivaji Ganesan or smth..*

Then I looked around hysterically to see if there were any Indian workers behind me. I didn’t want them to throw their tools at me for insulting their diva!!
