Last Saturday, I had trouble falling asleep. As I was laying on my bed Facebooking, I chanced upon the page of one of my online mate. As I was scrolling through, I suddenly came across a few Condolence messages on his wall.
I was really taken aback. I lost contact with this guy for a few years, but I always remembered him as a friendly, caring chap. This is one of the worst ways to hear of a friend’s demise – chancing upon it unknowingly.
Later on, after texting one of our common friend, I found out he passed on due to Stomach Cancer. Damn, cancer again! Why is cancer taking away so many innocent lives? This guy is young, and single. He hadn’t even started a family yet. Why him? (But it wasn’t fully a bad thing that he was not married. I can not even imagine the fate of a woman if she lost her husband at such a young age.)
I don’t know if it’s a lifestyle, or just a curse. Men these days are expiring much faster then women. So this goes out to all the guys who happen to look at this post. Please do take care.
You can eat anything you like, (Anything walking, crawling, swimming, flying..) But please make sure you DETOX properly each time you do so.
They do sell Detox Teas at Pharmacies, so…
1) Get your hand on a good Detox Tea and do drink it after you have a very fattening meal. You can also start sipping on good Green Tea on a frequent basis – replacing it with your common fizzy drink. Green tea contains substances called polyphenols that are believed to have powerful anti-cancer abilities.
2) If you ever had a surgery in your stomach, regarding ulcers or what not. Do take extra precautions and go for a check up everytime you feel pain or feel uncomfortable.
3) Quit smoking – ASAP. Whatever chances you have of getting cancer, smoking does nothing but doubles it! Especially when it comes to lung, throat, mouth, and liver cancer. If cancer is already in your genes, then all the more you should quit. Don’t do this for anybody. Do it for yourself.
4) Boost your Immune System. Start investing in Vitamins and Supplements, which makes your body strong enough to resist those baddies.
5) Add more Ginger, garlic and Tumeric in your food. Indians usually add all of this in abundance during cooking. If these items are not already in your ‘Ingredient List’, add them in now.
I hope I didn’t sound like some wannabe Doctor throughout this entire post. I just want to see this world surrounded with happy families. It is painful to lose a member of the family to Cancer, trust me. I’m a victim too.
