The weekend was tiring. Friday was my last day at work. I had so much of barang-barang to bring back home. I just packed it aside to collect it the next day, with the help of Ragu. After work, I headed down to Toa Payoh to meet up with the family. Had some pre-Deepavali prayers to do. The cousins were having fun when suddenly one decided to hang out after the prayers. So Letchman suggested Sentosa, but Pratheeb rejected it saying it was too far. After about 2 hrs of planning, we decided to head to ECP. But I had to rush back home as I needed to bring Sanjana down for her daily walk.
So off we left home, and I just sat on my couch after a very tired day. I was praying that I should get a call from one of the cousins saying the plan was going to be cancelled. But No! When I called Lavany, she sounded all excited saying she was getting ready. So I dragged myself downstairs for my walk with Sanjana, and the two hunks Letchman and Pratheeb came over to fetch us to ECP. We left in a while and I had a mini-heart attack seated at the back of Pratheeb’s car. He blasted the songs so loud, I thought my ear drums were going to bleed. Didn’t help that Dharshi was seated beside him, who always blasts songs due to her ’speaker’ damage.
We met Lavanz and Pachai at Macdonalds and we had late supper. Then we headed to the beach and played a game of ‘Truth or Dare’. I hate this game lah, seriously! Pfft! Since the two goons Pratheeb and Letchman are capable of anything, we banned the ‘Dare’ part. So all the truth came out, one by one. Hahaha! I was so super tired, got home at about 4 a.m.
Saturday morning came, got up at 8 a.m. and met Ragu and left to my workplace. Got my stuff and came back home. Met Maria for a while at 888 plaza, passed her some stuff, got my mum some groceries and went back home. Prita came over and we left to Vivo to get some cosmetics. Then we headed to Tekka for some last minute window shopping. Man, it was hell! We got shoved and pushed around. I was almost fuming as my feet got stepped over. I didn’t manage to get anything though. We were hungry but Tekka was just too crowded. So we decided to head to Compass Point at Seng Kang instead, since we have a straight bus back to Woodlands. We went down to Sakae Sushi and had a hearty meal. It was nice, just the three of us.
It’s Deepavali today. Feeling very bored. No mood at all. I don’t feel like going anywhere.
