Yesterday, Ragu and myself caught “The Love Guru”. All of a sudden I started frowning for no reason. The movie was supposed to be a comedy, in case you didn’t know. So the movie ended and we were walking back. I was un-usually quiet, and didn’t really respond to Ragu’s jokes. He started asking me what’s wrong. I told him “Nothing.” Truth was, I really didn’t know what was wrong. I usually am very chirpy and happy with him around but this time, I kept snapping at every of his comment.

We were walking back home. And then he could take my mood-swings no more and started listing incidences and asked me if any of those were the reason for me to be ‘disturbed.’ I explained to him that nothing of that was the reason. He was getting impatient now and asked me, “SO WHY ARE YOU DISTURBED?!”. I kept quiet for a while and told him, “I don’t know? PMS I guess?”

Btw, many people (men mostly) have the mis-conception that PMS is mood swings women have when they are having their periods.

WRONG!

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia :-

Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) (historically called PMT or Premenstrual Tension) is a collection of physical, psychological, and emotional symptoms related to a woman’s menstrual cycle.

PMS is a collection of symptoms. More than 200 different symptoms have been identified, but the three most prominent symptoms are irritability, tension, and dysphoria (unhappiness).

PRE – Menstrual syndrome meaning, the syndrome which affects ladies a few days before they get their menses. Get it?!

Now, as I was reading Kenny Sia’s blog, I chanced upoun this article which was incredibly hilarious and left me feeling a little guilty.

READ THIS.

P.S. I’m sorry for the mood-swings yesterday. I will make it up to you today, I promise. :(
