As messy as my life had been for a few months, I’m happy to say that I’m finally sorted out the things which had been on my mind. Am in a pretty good mood.
Yesterday was Ragu’s 24th birthday; I had it all nicely planned out weeks before. I spoke to him the night before asking him to sleep early ‘cos I wanted to meet him as early as 7am to bring him to Sentosa and spend the whole day there.
But my screwed lung infection had to act at from mid-night all the way till 5am, I got so breathless that I thought I was going to die. I coughed and ran to the toilet a million times coughing out balls of phlegm. The more I coughed, the more my hardworking lungs produced. The phlegm never seemed to run out.
I took out my phone and started sms-ing Ragu (because I couldn’t talk) at about 5 am. I was supposed to go to the Hospital, and the birthday baby offered to follow me, but I asked for 3 hours of rest before I decide if I need the hospital. Truthfully, I really hoped that I would get better as I didn’t want to spend his birthday at the hospital. (-_-) Thank god, I did get better at about 9am, so I met Ragu shortly after. Had breakfast at Macs and by the time we were done, it was already almost 12pm. Oh well, we decided to go to Sentosa anyway, so we headed off. When the train reached Novena, (on the way to Harbourfront) my love suddenly paused and asked if he could get himself an Adidas Shoe which he heard was on a good price at Velocity.
It was already quite late, but birthday boy asking mah! So I asked ‘okay’ and we alighted halfway. We spent 2 hours there
1) Because we spend 30mins trying to find where the Adidas shop was located
2) Because the New Balance shop (where Ragu settled at eventually) took 1hr and 30 mins to do all the run, walk, measurement tests to make sure Ragu bought the perfect shoe according to his fit, feet size and walking style.
I thought about it, and decided to postpone the Sentosa outing to next week instead.
So, we decided to head to East Coast instead for some cycling; which I had also been wanting to do for ages. Had fun, ate like a pig. Am super tired today. Since it’s Saturday, I don’t feel that sleepy though. Guess I’ll have to catch up on my sleep on Sunday!

I’m also looking forward to catch up loads with Bala, who just returned to the hectic life of Singapore. Haven’t got the time to meet him yet, hope that I see him soon. A few more days before my misery ends.
